Criteria for Selection

All conference presentations must provide high quality and comprehensive professional development for adult education and literacy. Presenters are encouraged to provide information that attendees can implement in their own programs.  All selected presenters will be notified via email and required to register for the TALAE Virtual Seminar.

Overview

The success of adult education and literacy in the state of Texas depends on our ability to respond to the changing demands of legislation, business and industry partners, and students.  The TALAE Virtual Seminar provides attendees the tools needed to improve their program administration, instructional strategies, and professional contacts in the context of adult learning.  The presentation review team is seeking proposals in the following areas:
  • Workforce Integration & Partnership Strand
  • ​High School Equivalency Strand
  • ESOL & English Language Learners Strand
  • Distance Education and Technology Strand​​

Questions
