Leadership. To promote the development of a comprehensive education program for adults in the State of Texas.
Professional Growth. To promote and encourage the professional growth of educators in the field of literacy and adult education. Promotion of Adult Education. To promote the exchange of ideas and collaboration among professionals and volunteers and organizations at all levels in the State of Texas. Linkage. To collaborate with local, state, regional and national organizations interested in literacy and adult education. Student Recognition. The organization awards annual scholarships to outstanding GED graduates and ESL students.
Outstanding Educator Recognition. Texas adult educators are recognized for their contribution to the field. Membership Recognition. Certificates are awarded to adult education programs with 100 or more members. |
